A Chrome extension for x.com
BotBlind gives every reply under a post a score from 0 to 100, using rules you can read on this page. Replies over your threshold fold into one grey line that says why. Nothing gets deleted, and one click brings any reply back.

Shipped dark mode today. Took 6 months because every screen had a hardcoded white somewhere. Ask me anything about the migration.
Did you use CSS variables from the start, or retrofit them? We have ~400 hex values in our codebase and I'm scared.
The contrast on the settings page is a bit low. Otherwise really nice.
Mockup. Names and replies are made up.
Each reply starts at 0. BotBlind looks at the text, the handle and the timestamp of the replies already loaded on the page, adds points for each signal it finds, and stops at 100. There's no AI model and no server involved, just the rules below running in your browser.
| Signal | Example | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Stock AI phrase | "great point", "couldn't agree more", "a testament to", "delve"More phrases in one reply add more, up to +50. | +25 |
| Generic praise | A reply that's only "Amazing!" or "So true" | +25 |
| Spam hook | "check my bio", "DM me", airdrops, "100x", t.me and bit.ly links | +40 |
| Replied very fast | Within 60 seconds of the post+10 if it's short and within 3 minutes. | +25 |
| Copy of another reply | Near-identical text elsewhere in the same thread | +30 |
| Shared phrase | The same three-word phrase in several replies | +15 to 30 |
| Handle ends in digits | @growth_ai8402913 | +20 |
| Ignores the post | Shares no real words with what it's replying toQuestions are never penalised for this. | +8 to 15 |
| Rhetorical template | "It isn't X, it's Y. So the real question:"Capped low. It can't hide a reply on its own. | +12 to 25 |
| Style tells | Em dashes in a short reply, a trail of 🚀🔥💯 | +6 to 15 |
A reply is hidden when its score reaches your threshold. In the mockup above, the first hidden reply was "Great point! This is a game-changer 🚀". It got 49 for three stock phrases, 15 for not mentioning anything in the post, 6 for the rocket and 25 for landing 8 seconds after the post: 95. You can also mark any account as human (never hide) or bot (always hide). That list stays on your computer.
I built BotBlind because I'd open a post on X to see what people thought, and the first screen of replies was always the same: "Great point!", a rocket emoji, someone telling me to check their bio. Most of them landed seconds after the post went up. The actual people were somewhere further down.
I didn't want another AI deciding what I get to read, so BotBlind is plain rules, and they're all on this page. If it hides someone real, click Show, mark them as human, and tell me on @botblindapp. I'll fix the rule.
